About Us
Dr Harpreet Saduera (Harps)

I graduated from the University of Manchester in the year 2000. Since then I have worked extensively within the NHS sector and established the Park Dental Clinic in 2008. I enjoy developing new skills to remain up to date with the treatments I can offer and have completed many renowned courses to gain invaluable experience and mastery in patient care and restorative /cosmetic dentistry. I returned to my alma mater, the University of Manchester, in 2017 to complete a Masters degree with Merit in Restorative and Aesthetic dentistry.
I have a keen interest in clinical education, and have been an educational supervisor for the Trent Deanery since 2006. My role here is to train, guide and mentor newly qualified dentists and equip them with the skills to practice independently. I also work alongside many local schools in the delivery of oral health promotion programmes and in the sixth form careers guidance/ university preparation programmes for prospective dental school entrants.
Outside of dentistry I have 2 children that give me the most joy! I am a happy person who loves to laugh: Michael Mcintyre and Only Fools and Horses being my favourites!
I also enjoy reading, current affairs, yoga/pilates and socialising with friends.
I look forward to meeting you soon and hopefully making you smile!
Mentoring
"Dr Harps was able to offer me invaluable advice when I was applying for Dental Surgery courses, which I really would have struggled to get elsewhere without paying hundreds of pounds. I was able to get my personal statement proof-read by herself and useful feedback given, ensuring that I had the crucial components of a good Dental application and a high-quality personal statement to present to Dental Schools. After securing 3 out of 4 interviews, she was able to provide amazing one-on-one support and create interview-like scenarios for me, asking me both panel-interview and MMI-style questions, as well as using techniques to improve my confidence in answering questions and beat nerves on the day.
Throughout my entire application experience, Dr Harps was extremely supportive and patient with me, always going the extra mile to assist me and help me get the most out of a tough and highly competitive process. Having secured conditional offers from all 3 universities that interviewed me, and gaining entry to Leeds Dental School in 2018, I can definitely say that the guidance I received from Dr Harps was invaluable to my success in being accepted into the course, as well as good performance on the course. I truly cannot highly recommend her advice enough and can say from personal experience that it really works! "

"I am happy to write that my mentoring experience with Dr Saduera was an extremely positive one. Dr Saduera suggested several months prior to my application for dentistry that she’d be happy to assist me with preparation for interviews. She was very accommodating in arranging time to meet up. My interview skills were improved immensely by addressing my weaknesses which we discussed at the outset. My body language was the initial concern; she taught me to feel relaxed, make the correct amount of eye contact and how to compose myself physically. We did a lot of MMI questions including a vast range of role play situations which Dr Saduera provided. I learnt not to rush or waffle on and by the end of my mentoring experience I much more confident. I actually enjoyed my university MMI interviews which was all down to Dr Saduera. Overall, she helped me gain confidence and enabled me to take the next step in my educational journey."

"I’m Andrew El-Khanagry, a fourth year dental student at the University of Birmingham. I first met Harps in Year 12 when I was preparing for my dental interviews. I remember being very nervous, especially as I haven’t had a formal interview like this before. Once we sat down Harps explained that this will be like a discussion and if I have any questions I should ask them along the way which made me feel immediately at ease. What I really struggled with is answering the fundamental questions such as why dentistry, especially why this profession over medicine. Talking to Harps helped refine my answer to this and helped me be confident to tackle other important questions that may come up in the interviews. More and more interviews for dentistry are now MMI based and there are many invaluable hints and tips that I was given to help me, which not only proved useful in these interviews, but with the OSCEs that come later on in dental school. I’m now at the stage where I’m reaching towards the end of my dental school training and I’ve had the opportunity to treat patients in most of the specialities. Although I don’t know what I want to specialise in yet, I am interested both cosmetics and oral surgery and I guess that I’ll just have to wait and see what the future holds. Thanks again for all your help and advice Harps, I wouldn’t be in this fortunate position if it weren’t for your support! "
