Mr. Oliver is President and CEO of Oliver Properties, a real estate investment, development, and asset management company based in Virginia. Oliver Properties specializes in multi-family real estate investments and redevelopment.The company has acquired and developed assets of over $95M including 3,000 apartments, townhouses, and offices in Colorado, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Virginia, and Washington D.C. Mr. Oliver also serves as Chairman of AHC, Inc., a non-profit multifamily developer with $1.1B in assets including over 7,000 apartments in Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Prior to joining Oliver Properties, he was a Senior Consultant with KPMG and a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. Senate. He earned a MBA from Tulane University, and a BA from the College of William & Mary.

Dr. Oliver has invested in and managed multi-family housing properties for over thirty years. He has significant transactional experience having acquired over 3,000 apartments in the United States. Dr. Oliver is a former tenured Professor of Public Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University and continues to teach as an adjunct professor. He is a graduate of Barrington College, and holds a masters degree from Columbia University and Ph.D. from the University of Virginia.
